About us

swift Swift operates from two locations: from Swindon, Wiltshire, which is just off the M4, and from Boughrood, near Brecon, which is in Powys, Wales.

Founder members

Richard Worthing-Davies

Richard is a UKCP registered Systemic Psychotherapist keenly interested in using EMDR while working with individuals, couples and families where life and relationships are adversely affected by disturbing experiences in the past, such as physical, emotional or sexual abuse. Also, he has a special interest in how people manage to balance the competing demands of work and home life, and in the resolution of difficulties within couple, family business relationships. Alongside his private practice he provides Family Therapy within a Social Services unit specialising in working with young people and their families. He has an MS in Industrial Administration from Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA and an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy from KCC. He is a member of EMDR Europe Association and is an Accredited Practioner.

Sally Worthing-Davies

Sally is a UKCP registered Systemic Psychotherapist working with children, adults and families. She is an accredited EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Consultant with EMDR Europe Association, using this therapy with many clients for a wide range of difficulties. Along side her private practice she is contracted to work with Social Services as a Family Therapist with the Child and Families Intervention Team and provides counselling services to companies whose employees require therapeutic help with a variety of issues. As a co-founder of SWIFT Counselling, Coaching and Conflict Resolution, she practices as a psychotherapist/counsellor, supervisor and trainer. She has a BA from Syracuse University, USA, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Systemic Psychotherapy from Kensington Consultation Centre (KCC), London.
